I have been interested in healthy living for many years and my grandmother used natural healing remedies. When I was younger, I treated my mother with glass cups for muscular pains, and her friend remembers his grandmother making candles to ease earache and remove ear wax.
I am a qualified aerobics instructor and teach Pilates. My holistic qualifications are with VTCT and ITEC accrediting bodies and I regularly attend workshops to learn about new developments.

We fit so much into our lives today; that we often forget about ourselves; we visit dentists and opticians but expect our bodies to cope with our changing lifestyles without help or relief until something goes wrong and starts to hurt. We service and MOT our vehicles, so we should find time to give our body and mind a well deserved care plan.
Complementary therapy combined with a healthy eating plan, exercise programme and form of relaxation should help your wellbeing.
Find time to reflect on your lifestyle; avoid prepared/processed food - it may be a quick fix, but not offer much nutrition. When you prepare a meal freeze the leftovers for another day.
Set yourself a target to go for a walk, use the stairs instead of the lift. Every time you use the car - ask yourself if you can walk or cycle instead. the recommended number of steps we should take daily is 10,000 - this equates to about 1 hour’s walking.
Being under pressure and feeling stressed prevents your body from working efficiently. Allow your mind to wander freely by finding a prompt to ensure you take deep breaths. Join a class where you can focus your mind and take slow deep breaths to stretch your mind as well as your muscles.
Remember to set yourself realistic goals and not expect too much too quickly. Work to your own plan and don't let anyone put you off!
